The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a federal constitutional monarchy made up of a federation of seven hereditary tribal monarchy-styled political systems called Sheikhdoms. Any International students who want to study in the UAE must obtain a UAE Student Visa. However, prior to that, they must get an offer letter from the institution of higher education in the UAE since it is the university that handles the visa application process.

Students have the option to work on-campus and off-campus work in Dubai. International students in UAE are also allowed to do internships as long as they fulfil the legal requirements, their university’s requirements, and the job requirements. Top universities in Dubai also offer internship opportunities to students that give them relevant work exposure. The UAE student visa, however, does not allow the International students to work full-time in the country.

Part-time hours in UAE allowed
The universities allow international students to work up to 15 hours per week or 60 hours per month. During academic breaks, students are allowed to work up to 40 hours a week or 160 hours per month.
