University of Oxford tops ‘THE’ world rankings for 8 years

For eight consecutive years, the University of Oxford has consistently held the top position in ‘THE’ world rankings.

The University of Oxford was followed by Stanford University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which were placed 2nd and 3rd on the list. On the other hand, Cambridge University, which is seen as the competitor of Oxford in the UK, ranked 5th, a demotion of 2 potions from the previous year.

Oxford’s success is underpinned by its remarkable performance across all 18 indicators, encompassing teaching quality, global perspective, and industry partnerships. Particularly, Oxford stands out for its exceptional and globally influential research.

The University of Oxford first achieved the top spot in the 2017 THE rankings, and since then, it has not looked back for once.
