The University of Leeds is excited to introduce the India Anniversary Masters Scholarship 2024, designed to support exceptional students from India who wish to pursue a master’s degree at the University.
This scholarship offers financial aid to help cover tuition fees for several master’s programs. The University will evaluate applicants based on their academic accomplishments, their potential to contribute to the university community, and their future goals in their chosen field.
To be eligible, Indian nationals must have received an offer to study a full-time master’s program at the University of Leeds. Applicants need to be self-funded and classified as international fee-paying students. They should also meet all conditions of their academic offer and have accepted it through the application portal. The master’s program must start in September 2024.
Additionally, applicants should pay a tuition fee deposit of £3,000, if required, by the deadline stated in their offer letter. Please note that online courses are not eligible for this scholarship.
Students must be enrolled at the University of Leeds by February 2025 to qualify. The scholarship can be combined with any Department/Faculty scholarships or external funding, provided the total does not exceed 100% of the tuition fees. However, applicants cannot defer the scholarship to a future year.
No separate application is needed for the scholarship. Eligible students will automatically receive the award as a tuition fee reduction in their second semester.
