Covid-19: India to be removed from UK ‘Red’ travel list on August 8

Share:

India moves from Red to Amber List, allowing its passage to the UK from the 8th of August, 2021. According to the latest updates provided by a UK Government official on Twitter, this Wednesday, India is no longer a part of the Red Listed Countries. The spokesperson quoted that the situation of India among other three nations has shown an improvement in the Covid outbreak.

As India moves to the Amber List, we are happy to make this announcement for our students who are planning to study in the UK that all the flights from our country will be allowed to fly without any Covid implied restrictions.

The students are no longer required to quarantine themselves for 10 days in a Hotel, rather they must home quarantine themselves or remain inside the place they choose to stay at for their safety purposes.

This new guideline will be in effect from this Sunday, that is, 8th August 2021.
