North Island College (NIC) proudly recognizes the traditional territories of the collective 35 First Nations from the Nuu-chah-nulth, Kwakwaka’wakw, and Coast Salish traditions. These territories are the traditional and unceded lands upon which the college’s campuses are located.
NIC is a comprehensive community college with a strong commitment to student success. Annually, we provide educational services to over 9,000 students through our four campuses, learning center, and a range of online and in-community learning opportunities.

NIC is building its first student housing complex at its Comox Valley campus. The complex will have 217 beds and will be multi-generational, inclusive, and accessible.
