The University of South Wales (USW) is a major player in UK Higher Education and has long been renowned for its partnerships with major employers.
The University of South Wales Dubai is the first international campus to be launched by USW. Based in Dubai South’s business district alongside the Al Maktoum International Airport, our campus is ideally placed to prepare our students for their entry into employment.

The new campus in Dubai opened in September 2018 at Dubai South located near Al-Maktoum International Airport. The courses offered will be British Bachelor degrees which include Aviation Maintenance Engineering. In 2018 the University was criticised by human rights campaigners when it awarded honorary doctorates to two senior figures in the UAE government, Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, at the campus’ opening ceremony.
The University of South Wales Dubai is situated in the emirate of Dubai’s purpose-built city for business and industry, Dubai South. The exciting new development will be the home of the world’s largest airport, Al Maktoum International Airport and key events such as the World Expo 2020 and the Dubai Airshow.
In Dubai South there are plenty of shopping outlets, restaurants and coffee shops, and if you need a burst of city life there’s everything you need in Dubai.

The University of South Wales Dubai offers a number of affordable accommodation options to suit all budgets close to the Dubai campus. These include fully-equipped apartments with shared or single occupancy rooms. USW Dubai has partnered with two accommodation options Jebel Ali Gardens and Uninest Student Residences to provide you with a safe, secure and sociable home for you to stay while completing your studies.
Their accommodation options vary in price and distance. Jebel Ali Gardens is the closet accommodation option to the campus however, Uninest is closer to the centre of Dubai. Please note, they only facilitate accommodation options for students aged 18 and over.
