Wire transfer is also known as money transfer. It is an effective and fastest way to electronically transfer funds from one account to another. This method helps you transfer the money securely and quickly. Hence, it is a perfect way of transferring a larger amount such as tuition fees. When you are in Canada or planning to study in Canada, several colleges accept payment/fees through wire transfer. Some of them have been listed here:

  • George Brown College
  • Seneca College
  • Fleming College
  • Niagara College
  • ISI College
  • CDE College
  • Sheridan College

While using the wire transfer method for transferring the course/tuition fees, you need to keep the exact process in mind because the process may vary depending on the bank that you are using to complete the transfer. be sure to contact the college and verify the details. To get started with the process, you will need the following general details:

  • Name of the account holder/college along with complete mailing address and contact details
  • Account number
  • SWIFT code and routing number for international wires
  • Branch details

While sending funds, you need to be aware of the wire transfer fees, if any. A certain amount might be charged whether you are sending or receiving funds and this amount vary for domestic and international locations. A wire transfer can take up to 3-5 working days. One suggestion we would like to give students is that if you want to transfer tuition fees of your college directly, you should confirm with the authorities if there is any specific wire transfer company you should choose to speed up the process.
