FRANCE: More attractive Study Abroad Destination than Germany, US, UK, survey finds

France, country in Europe, is one of the most popular study destinations in the world with more than 300,000 international students. The country has an excellent academic reputation when it comes to quality education, research opportunities, low tuition fees and excellent environment for international students. Being home to some of the best universities in the world, France is an excellent choice for any student aspiring to study abroad.

A survey of 14,245 international students conducted by Campus France, in conjunction with the Kantar Public Institute, on the attractiveness of France as a study abroad destination revealed that France is more attractive than ever to international students. 64% of international students in Campus France Survey chose France ahead of Germany, the US, and the UK. This suggests that the attractiveness of France as a study abroad destination is continuing to grow.

Some stats and facts from survey 2017:

• 92% of students surveyed 2017 said they would recommend France as a study abroad destination (up from 91% in 2013 and 90% in 2011)
• More than 88% of those who are studying or have studied in France said they are satisfied with the quality of education and the quality of teaching (up from 86% in 2013)
• 77% of those students who hesitated about making a decision about best study abroad destination said they made France their first choice
